Loyal To Our Soil Grant Application

Introducing the LOYAL TO OUR SOIL Trail Grant, presented by Ranch Camp, MTBVT, and Specialized Bikes. We're inviting nonprofit entities from around the State to apply. Over the past year we've raised $15,000 through a series of events including the Green Mountain Showdown, Art Pop, Specialized Stumpjumper Evo Pro & Enduro Comp raffles and more. Now that we have money in the coffers (thank you all!) we're ready to give back.  

Thank you to Specialized Bikes for providing the prize bikes that made much of this program possible! And thanks to everyone that participated. Congrats again to Sam and Amanda on their wins!     

We have two pools of money up for grabs:  

One, we've donated $5,000 to VMBA to be used in two Ranch Camp naming grants this fall. Tom and the crew at VMBA will we releasing the grant app soon so stay tuned. More details about VMBA and their grants can be found at VMBA.ORG.  

Two, we have a second chunk of dough in our L2OS grant pool and will be dividing it up among qualified applicants. There's up to 10k up for grabs and all you have to do is qualify as a 501c3 and fill out the form.  

We'll be weighing the validity of each application over the course or the next eight weeks and will pick three qualified parties to award the grants to. You do not have to be a VMBA chapter to apply for this money. To the contrary, we encourage all interested parties looking to forward the MTB community to apply!  

Grant Application and Payout Process: The grant application pool is open. Applications will be vetted by Ranch Camp and the three finalists will be voted upon via online poll. The $10k Loyal To Our Soil grant pool will be segmented into $2k, $3k, and $5k awards. The grant will be awarded to the winning participants this fall.
